The kiddos went to music camp during spring break
for a week from 8:30-2:00.
I was excited to have a little time.
Dev is not a T-shirt girl. She had a cute dress
ready for the occasion and we arrived at the
performance to show what they had learned at
music camp and found out she had to wear this
shirt. She had a good attitude,
Dev has been learning guitar with Auntie Catherine and she
continued to learn at camp.
Bobo continued to work on his ukulele. This time
represented to most hours Bobo had been away from me.
It was good for both of us to have a little break from the
normal school routine. Mostly, he wanted to go.
The camp included guitar, ukulele, voice, percussion, and piano.
This was a performance at Cannery Mall, Dev performed here
a few times dancing hula when she was 3.
I felt some pressure during the week that
this was my "one" time and I need to use
it well. But things would come up
or Cambria would not take as long of a nap.
I just had to trust God's provision and
believe He would give me what I needed.
Dad said I had a little "pep" in my step.
I think I needed a break from the
homeschool routine.
The next performance was held at the Factory outlet stores
downtown Lahaina.
