Sunset

We hopped in the car one night to catch sunset at a

great place to watch surfers.  Always a reminder of

the beauty of living here.  It was breathtaking.

What I love about doing school at home...

We don't rush off to school in the morning

(amazing!)

There is time for things to happen spontaneously.

I continue to realize I just need clarity and space of mind, to have

time so I can create and be inspired and come up with

ideas for our homeschooling.

I've thought and looked at our schedule and tweaked it a few

times...yet, we have still only followed exactly a couple of times.

I have wondered if I need to be back at the house by 7:00 (after

my run) so I can either have some quiet time or get us going

earlier but that means I need to go to bed earlier.  And that is

tricky because that is our down time. 

 

In homeschooling there is a dance between staying on track

and going off on tangents...because you can!

Lord, restore or give me the Love of Learning.

I can become to about the tasks, set of standards,

or completed books we need to do.  I can get lost

there and then not instill a love of learning

because I don't have it either in the moment.
